Southeast Molding is the Cleveland, Tennessee, plant of Midwest Molding Inc., an employee-owned, ISO 9001 certified custom injection molder since 2000. Together our Tennessee and Ohio plants run more than 70 all-electric presses, from 45 to 1,800 tons, around the clock and make more than 250 million parts a year. We build your mold in our own tool shop, then take your part through high-volume molding, assembly and inspection, all molded in America.

Our own tool shop
Molds built in our own tool shop
We build new injection molds on U.S.-made mold bases in our company-owned tool shop and run them on our own presses in Tennessee and Ohio, so the people who build your mold work with the people who mold your parts. The same shop evaluates and repairs transferred molds and keeps every tool in shape with preventive maintenance and dry-ice cleaning.
We prioritize U.S.-made components: every mold starts on a U.S.-made mold base, and we choose American-made components wherever they are available.

Wittmann servo robots, plus FANUC, Yaskawa and Universal Robots arms, handle every part the same way, cycle after cycle.
Assembly & secondary operations
Automated gate cutting, ultrasonic welding, sub-assembly and vibratory bowl feeders, so parts ship ready for your line.

ISO 9001 certified. Vision systems, part-specific checking fixtures and blue-light 3D scanners that compare parts with CAD.

What does Southeast Molding make?

What materials do you mold?
We mold all common resins, from commodity grades like polypropylene to engineering grades like nylon. Tell us what your part needs.
Do you build your own molds?
Yes. We build injection molds in our company-owned tool shop, then run them on our own presses. Transferred molds are evaluated and repaired in the same shop. The shop builds molds up to 10,000 lb, and our presses run molds up to 40,000 lb.
Can you make prototypes?
Yes. We 3D print prototype parts in-house so you can check form and fit before the production mold is built.
